Our Client is seeking confident, experienced, reliable, flexible and **Female preferred Support Workers in the Macarthur region, to work within a family.

All successful Support Workers that join the team will understand the complexities of spinal cord injuries, be good communicators with fluent English skills, have a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to ensuring all Client needs are met consistently and delivered in line with our Client's requests and preferences.

Experience with the complexities of Spinal Cord Injuries will be highly regarded including the use of mobility equipment eg: hoist, catheter care, complex bowel care, respiratory management including tracheostomy care and ventilation, working alongside a Registered Nurse delivering 2:1 supports.

Rosters are published 4 weeks in advance and we value committed and loyal staff.

Casual SCHADS Award Weekday rate of $41.76 to $43.08 depending on level of qualifications and experience.

6am - 9am

10pm - 1am (Tues/Thurs)

Essential Skill Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support or higher (or equivalent/approved healthcare accreditation).

• Minimum 12mths previous industry experience supporting people who are living with physical disability in particular spinal cord injury.

• Manual Handling Certificate
• NDIS Worker Check
• Working with Children Check (Child present in home)
• Right to work in Australia
• Infection Control Training
• Food Handling Certificate
• Valid Driver's Licence and a reliable vehicle with Comprehensive Car Insurance.
• You will also be required to drive Client's accessible van on occasion.
• Nonsmoker
