Veteran Health Association

Want to work in a fun relaxed environment as part of a multidisciplinary team? We’ll provide the client base AND a proven framework that gets meaningful results from just six weeks.
- Do you love what you do but want to work in a more relaxed environment while being part of a collaborative team?
- Do you want to get paid above industry rates, have greater flexibility and a better work life balance?
- Are you ready to work shoulder to shoulder with other allied health professionals to support veterans to get their minds and bodies back on track?
Then the Veteran Health Association (VHA) is for you.
With us, you’ll work out of health clubs in your active wear (with no clinical offices or stiff business clothes in site). You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide tailored, integrated, and adaptive treatment based on our successful framework.
We created the evidence-based framework back in 2015 to fill a gap in traditional veteran health care. Veterans were typically treated in silos that didn’t address known barriers to getting help.
We saw an opportunity to do things differently, to do things better. We created a multidisciplinary framework that reduces barriers to treatment and improves outcomes.
Our approach adopts a biopsychosocial model (treating each person as a whole) which research clearly demonstrates is superior in achieving better health and wellbeing outcomes.
Our framework supports hundreds of veterans each year to get their lives back on track from just six weeks.
So if you’re ready to be part of a winning team, that makes a real difference, come join us!
Here’s how it works.
- You can work part time or full time.
- We’ll provide you with a proven evidence-based framework.
- We’ll train you in the framework and provide ongoing support.
- We’ll do all the marketing and provide the clients and the space.
- You’ll practise out of health clubs and work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside an exercise physiologist and a physiotherapist.
- You and your team will work with referring GPs to develop and deliver tailored treatment plans.
At VHA, no two days are the same, and that’s exactly how our teams like it.
They don’t take themselves too seriously (fun socks have become a part of our uniform!). They do, however, work hard and offer first class customer service.
Our teams love what they do and feel a strong sense of purpose in supporting veterans to transform their lives. They’re also reassured knowing that we’re a growing company that provides opportunities to progress.
As innovators, we welcome new ideas and people with diverse backgrounds and interests. While working within our framework, there’s flexibility to make the program your own. So whether you’re into surfing, yoga, or boxing, you can work with us to integrate your passions and help shape future program initiatives.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to join one of our multidisciplinary teams, then please read on.
