Warehouse/Store Person

Ozlinc Industries is a long-established supplier of pipe, fittings and flanges to the Australian industrial, resources and oil & gas sectors. The business is continuing to grow its market presence and is seeking a Warehouse/Store Person to join its team based at its O’Connor operations. Ozlinc prides itself in its investment in its people through in-house and external development programs which underpin the performance of the business.

An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our warehouse team. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate their ability to work in a spirited team environment, be self-motivated, have sound communications skills and a strong work ethic.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager your key responsibilities will be:

• Picking & Packing Orders: Accurately and efficiently pick and pack customer orders to meet tight deadlines.
• Stock Handling: Receive, check, record, organise, and store incoming stock, ensuring it is properly accounted for.
• Inventory Management: Regularly help conduct physical stock-takes, maintaining an accurate inventory of stock and ensuring products are safely and securely stored.
• Dispatch & Loading: Prepare and load goods for dispatch, ensuring they are ready for timely delivery.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment at all times.
• General Warehouse Duties: Perform additional tasks as required by the Supervisor, including cleaning, stock organisation, and administrative tasks.

To be successful in this position, you will require the following:

• Previous experience working within a warehouse environment.
• Hold a forklift ticket with previous experience
• Operate Forklift up to 5 Tonnes.
• Operate Overhead Crane
• Experience driving Reach Trucks.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Physical fitness and stamina, as this role involves manual handling.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug and Alcohol screen.
• Full working rights within Australia
• Good attitude and strong communication skills

Above award wage, based on a 40-hour working week (Mon to Fri) will be negotiated in accordance with the successful applicants' skills and experience.
