My client is a well-established chartered firm in the heart of the CBD. They provide services in accounting, taxation, advisory, Audit, and bookkeeping. Their client base is diverse in both size and locality and includes multinational businesses, SME’s, and notable high-net-worth individuals and family groups
Their bookkeeping division continues to grow and they are now looking to add two additional team members to ensure they can continue on an upward trajectory. The team is overseen by a Partner in business services and currently consist of 3 Bookkeepers who each manage their own portfolio of clients.
In this role you will be both hands on as well as managing and reviewing the work produced by offshore team members, and acting as a key point of contact for bookkeeping clients.
The bookkeeping team work on a hybrid basis with 2-3 days work-from-home. There is potential for some flexibility in start and finish times to accommodate family and/or other personal commitments.
You will be joining a diverse and growing business with a team of passionate individuals. The Partners are looking for someone who loves what they do, and is motivated to make the lives of their clients better!
Key duties include:
- Full functional bookkeeping and payroll using Xero & MYOB
- Preparation/Review and lodgement of BAS & IAS
- Liaising with clients over phone, email, and face-to-face
- Reviewing work produced by offshore team and providing feedback and training as required
- Quarterly Superannuation payment processing using Xero and/or ATO SBSCH account online
The ideal candidate will posses:
- 3+ years bookkeeping experience (including payroll)
- Experience in an accounting or bookkeeping firm where you have serviced clients
- Strong practical experience with Xero and MYOB
- Great communication & customer service skills
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- A positive and down-to-earth attitude
