About the role
We are looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded professional with experience in the electrical or plumbing industry to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with tools, machinery, and test and measure equipment while also delivering exceptional customer service.
As Equipment Coordinator / Driver, you'll be the key link between our Test & Measure specialist branch, our customers, and their projects. While there is an element of pick-up and delivery, this role primarily focuses on hands-on servicing, testing, and maintaining a wide range of Test & Measure specialist tools and machinery. You'll ensure our customers receive expert advice and that all equipment is in top condition, ready for hire.
This role requires you to;
- Inspect, service, and maintain test and measurement equipment, ensuring it is safe and operational.
- Instruct and demonstrate to customers how to correctly and safely use our equipment.
- Conduct minor repairs and preventative maintenance on tools and machinery.
- Perform equipment check-in and check-out inspections to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Deliver and pick up equipment from customer sites as required, including safe loading and unloading.
- Provide exceptional customer service by offering technical advice and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and organised branch facility and equipment.
About you
We are seeking individuals with hands-on experience in the electrical or plumbing trades who have a strong mechanical aptitude and enjoy working with tools and machinery. You will also have:
- A valid driver's licence.
- Experience in electrical, plumbing, mechanical servicing, or related trades.
- A keen interest in testing and measuring equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
- The availability to work weekends on a rotating roster (check branch for details).
- A reasonable level of physical fitness and the ability to pass a drug test.
