Are you a compassionate and caring Room Leader or experienced Educator looking for the next step in your career? We are recruiting a Room Leader who will play a key role in our centre. In this position, you will provide leadership support in all aspects of room management for a designated room.

You will

• Lead and guide your team of dedicated Educators in developing and implementing innovative early years learning programs rooted in best practice techniques and centred on children’s interests
• Develop and maintain meaningful relationships with the children, families, Educators, and the wider centre community
• Provide mentorship to Educators, supporting their professional development and maintaining the provision of high-quality services
• Actively contribute to Aurrum Kids curriculum, working collaboratively with the centre management team on implementation and adoption throughout the centre

About you

You will have experience in managing a team or providing leadership within an Educator role, and a focus on maintaining high quality across all areas of your work. You’ll be an excellent communicator and be supportive and compassionate, with a passion for leading and mentoring others to become the best Educators they can be.

Additionally, you will have:

• A Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services or ACECQA recognised equivalent
• A practical understanding of the Early Years Framework and National Quality Standards
• An understanding of, or willingness to learn about, the Reggio Emilia philosophy
• An up to date working with children check (WWCC) and children protection certificate, or willingness to obtain
