EARN $51 – 61per hour + super + overtime + monthly RDO

Overview of Role

An opportunity for a Maintenance Electrician has become available at our Acacia Ridge Manufacturing Site, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. You will be directly responsible for the maintenance of machinery, equipment, and services on site to achieve optimum production, customer service and safe work practice. You will be part of a team who are on a journey to out-perform and meet our customers’ needs through manufacturing excellence and innovation.

Day Shift position working 6am – 2pm Monday to Friday.

The Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for:

• Ensuring that all manufacturing equipment and services are fully maintained to ensure safe and reliable operation
• Maintain breakdown and maintenance data in MEX
• Co-ordinating and arranging services with outside electrical contractors as required
• Maintaining, organising and acquisition of spare parts as required, including those not easily obtained locally
• Organising or carrying out electrical maintenance and overcoming breakdowns on manufacturing equipment as required
• Implement GMP and OHS procedures
• Execute PM work orders efficiently.

To be successful in this role you will be:

• An A Grade Electrician
• A self-starter with a strong results orientation and attention to detail
• A good communicator
• Able to relate to people across all levels
• Comfortable with change and drive for continuous improvement

The following attributes and experience would also be desirable but not essential:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Experience using MEX
• PLC programming
• EWP license
• Experience in hazardous environments
