Workfast is looking for a Sales Associate for a valued client based in Welshpool, WA, paying $45.50 - $55.66 Per Hour + Penalties, Based On Experience. The role will involve some travel to Geraldton and South West, WA regions.

Our client is a leading provider of fire protection services in Australia and has been helping to protect people and property for over 135 years. Their expertise spans the design, manufacture, installation and service of fire safety products, fire extinguishers and equipment backed up with a comprehensive range of fire services from engineering advice to fire safety training.

They supply specialist fire protection services to the mining, marine, industrial, commercial and retail industries. Many leading companies and government bodies also rely on their specialist expertise. Specialising in fire detection and protection systems since 1889 and operating in over 40 locations nationally.

• $45.50 - $55.66 Per Hour + Penalties, Based On Experience
• Monday - Friday, 7 - 8am Start Time

What you need:

• Australian C-Class Driver's License & Own Car
• Be dynamic, energetic and have an optimistic attitude.
• Be organised, analytical and ethical.
• Possess superior relationship building skills, at all levels.
• Have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Outstanding influencing and customer service skills.
• Business Development background with experience developing client portfolios and achieving budgets.
• Experience in tender processes and successfully responding to tenders is a must.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel is a must.
• Experience using Sales Software/CRM systems, e.g. Pronto is desirable.
• Previous experience in selling fire solutions or other building services is desirable.

What you will be doing:

• An exciting and challenging role exists for a highly driven and tenacious individual who can lead our client's business development initiatives in Western Australia.
• Your main focus will be the sales and growth of their Fire System Testing (FST) sector which provides routine testing of fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire doors, sprinkler and hydrant systems.
• Gathering market intelligence.
• Identification of new, profitable business opportunities.
• Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders.
• Converting opportunities to ongoing, recurring revenue business and achieving budgets.
• Maximising sales opportunities and ensuring contracts are secured on commercially favourable terms.
• Leading and co-ordinating tender processes which elevate our client ahead of their competition.
