About the role

As a Driver's Assistant at Tasman Butchers', you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient delivery of goods to our Stores. This is a casual position based in Melton, VIC 3337, with opportunities to work flexible hours to suit your needs.

What you'll be doing

• Picking stock for supply to our network of stores located across the Western Suburbs of Melbourne
• Assisting the truck driver with loading and unloading deliveries
• Ensuring deliveries are made in a safe and timely manner
• Providing excellent customer service to our clients
• Assisting with stock replenishment at the Melton Base Store & Replenishment Centre.
• Supporting the overall operations of the Tasman Butchers' distribution network

What we're looking for

• A positive, customer-focused attitude with strong communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
• Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of loading and unloading deliveries
• Prior experience in a similar role or in the warehousing, storage and distribution industry
• A current driver's licence (desirable but not essential)
