MPE Engineering is seeking a marine mechanic who wants to build a long-term career for themselves with a rapidly growing business working on a variety of off-highway equipment and plant. The successful candidate will be required to have the following:

• Ability to work 40+ hour weeks
• Have a strong understanding of safety and PPE requirements in an industrial environment
• Have the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Available for an immediate start
• Trade qualified in Marine Mechanical Technology (Certificate III).
• Hold a current Drivers Licence.
• Experience in small and large marine diesel engines.
• Must have MTU, CAT or Cummins experience.
• Experience in diesel generators
• Experience in hydraulic systems
• Experience in pumps and electric motors
• Experience in low voltage electrical

This is a workshop/ field position predominately servicing the maritime and power generation industry.
