About the role

As an Estimator / Scheduler at Louis Homes', you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of complex construction projects. This full-time position is based in Wembley WA 6014 and is responsible for providing accurate cost estimates, developing comprehensive project schedules, and collaborating closely with the wider construction team.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing detailed cost estimates for proposed construction projects
• Developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and milestones
• Analysing construction plans and identifying potential issues or risks, proposing solutions to mitigate them
• Coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information and ensure efficient project execution
• Identifying opportunities to optimise costs and improve processes throughout the project lifecycle
• Providing regular progress reports and updates to key stakeholders

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or Scheduler, with a track record of delivering successful projects
• Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proficient in the use of estimating software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office suite
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
