Wilmoore Allstone is a family-run business with our head office based in Lara. We work on sites across the Geelong, Melbourne region, and Victoria. We are currently seeking both skilled and experienced stonemasons as well as apprentices to join our ever-expanding team based in Melbourne.

About Us:
We specialise in all aspects of stonemasonry, including entrance walls, fireplaces, feature walls, retaining walls, pillars, restorations, renovations, and new builds. Whether you are an experienced professional or just starting your career, you will gain valuable hands-on experience, mentoring, and support by working with our qualified and skilled team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Cutting and shaping stone using machines and hand tools, and shaping stones to fit irregular spaces.
• Mixing mortar and ensuring the correct consistency.
• Erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding.
• Embedding blocks in mortar and removing excess mortar.
• Checking vertical and horizontal alignment.
• Repairing and maintaining stone, cement blocks, and related structures.
• Constructing walls using stone slabs and large masonry slab blocks.
• Demonstrating high attention to detail and delivering a quality finish on all work.

What We Are Looking For:

For Experienced Stonemasons:

• Proven experience in stonemasonry with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Ability to work independently or lead a small team.
• Expertise in various stonemasonry techniques and tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex projects.

For Apprentices:

• A genuine interest in stonemasonry.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Physically fit and capable.
• Reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn.
• Be a confident communicator.

Additional Requirements (For All Applicants):

• Driver's license and own car preferred.
• A commitment to safety and quality.
