Through Incolink’s Women in Construction program, the successful candidate will assist, support and advise women on construction career pathways, and support them on their career journey including provision of relevant training, job placements and wraparound support services. The role develops and maintains knowledge of construction industry training courses, systems and providers, including subsidies available.

The successful candidate will:
● Develop and maintain knowledge of construction industry training courses, systems and providers, including subsidies available.
● Participate in Incolink’s programs to attract, recruit and retain more women into the construction industry
● Assist candidates to become “job ready”.
● Consult with employer associations and industry bodies to understand strategies for increasing diversity within the construction industry.
● Promote and educate unions and employers about the benefits of increasing diversity within the construction industry and provide best practice strategies.
● Develop and support marketing campaigns to increase awareness.
● Assist employees and employers to utilise online job platform.
● Provide individual case management support for high-needs members seeking employment.
● Analyse candidate pool and match candidates based on employer requirements.
● Create and maintain pathways for sourcing appropriate candidates to match employer’s current and future requirements.

● Develop and support industry campaigns for Incolink’s Women in Construction program.
● Source testimonials from employers and/or other stakeholder organisations.
● Promote Incolink and the Women in Construction Program through attendance at job sites and employer offices.
● Engage and motivate potential student cohort, careers teachers, TAFE’s, secondary schools, employers, unions and parents to build construction workforce.
● Develop and host stakeholder events.
● Develop and maintain relationships with unions, employer and employer associations to support employment opportunities.
● Develop and maintain relationships with industry training providers to support apprenticeships, training and subsidy opportunities.
● Attend industry functions and events as requested.
● Provide reporting and analysis.
● Provide data to support stakeholder initiatives.

Required knowledge. skills and experience:

● Qualifications in employment services, or related discipline.
● Demonstrated experience gained in providing training services and knowledge of RTO and TAFE sector, including construction industry career pathways
● Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, with proven ability to influence diverse stakeholders
● Understanding of needs of employers and industry.
● Knowledge or ability to acquire understanding, of industry training courses, systems and training providers that relate to the building industry
● Excellent digital knowledge and skills in employment services environment.
● Team oriented, able to develop and foster strong working relationships with all internal departments and internal staff.
● Proven ability to engage, understand and support women seeking a career in industry.
● Analytical and able to convert research/data into practical solutions.
