Spray Painter & Blast Operator

We are currently seeking skilled Spray Painter / Blasters for our client who is based in Henderson/Naval Base. Your experience in the heavy commercial, mining, marine & transport industries will place you in good stead for these roles.

What’s in it for you:

• Day Shift - $47ph (6am to 4:30pm)
• Afternoon Shift - $56.40ph (12pm to 10:30pm)
• Monday to Thursday (40 hours)
• 3 month contract
• Immediate starts!

Key job requirements for the role:

• Experience painting trucks, vessels or other similar large surface area items.
• Experience in structural steel
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to work effectively individually and as a team player.
• Good time keeping and job recording skills.
• Promote a Safety-first environment
• An enthusiastic, positive, and patient person who takes pride in their work and team results.

Required skills:

• Trade qualifications as a Spray Painter with 2+ years' experience.
• Current Forklift ticket.
• Confined Space/Working at Heights.
• Experience with overhead Cranes in a workshop environment (desirable)
• Experience in the Automotive/Marine Industry (desirable)
• Experience painting 2 pack paints.
