Mackay Private Hospital is a progressive and forward thinking 34 bed private hospital, situated on Norris Road in the heart of Mackay, approximately 5kms away from the CBD with free and accessible staff parking.

Mackay Private Hospital offers multidisciplinary inpatient and day program services across the specialties of orthopaedic rehabilitation, general rehabilitation, general medical and mental health services working intricately with its partners at the Mackay Base Hospital and the Mater Private Hospital as well as local community services.

The medical, allied health and nursing team strive to provide best practice, evidence based interdisciplinary care to the occupants of the facility, including access to a full day program for mental health inpatients, a large and well-equipped therapy gym and a hydrotherapy pool. Allied Health staff also work alongside the medical team to assess and admit patients to the day rehabilitation program which can offer full day, half day and sessional programs.

The Allied Health team are looking for its next Physiotherapist, a staff member that is dedicated and enthusiastic to deliver evidence based comprehensive Physiotherapy assessment, management, education and training, across inpatient and outpatient programs.
