Due to our expanding operations, we're looking for additional Field Service HD Fitters to work across the Goldfields region in your own mine spec Ute.

The ideal candidate will excel in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various heavy machinery and equipment. As we are a Volvo Penta dealer, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge through ongoing training and practical experience.

Qualifications & experience

• Mechanical Trade cert
• Minimum 4 years mechanical experience
• Valid qualifications and licenses (including current driver's license)
• Extensive experience with Heavy Duty equipment, including but not limited to: CAT, Normet, Dana, Sandvik, Kessler and Spicer
• Strong attention to detail
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of WHS measures in the workplace
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and DAS

Tasks & responsibilities

• Servicing & Repair - Conduct maintenance and repair work on underground mobile and plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Major Component Replacements - Execute the replacement of major components as necessary.
• Onsite Commissioning - Oversee and carry out the commissioning of machines on site.
• Fault Diagnosis and Resolution - Identify, diagnose, and report faults, providing effective solutions to rectify issues promptly.
• Timeliness and Quality - Adhere to project timelines while upholding high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
• Dependability and Punctuality - Demonstrate consistent reliability and punctuality in completing assigned tasks and meeting deadlines.
