Nirrumbuk Aboriginal Corporation (NAC) is a Broome based community organisation managed and owned by Aboriginal members, our board consists of 11 Indigenous people from Broome and the Dampier Peninsula.
Our primary objectives are to build the capacity of the Aboriginal Community and individuals in the region by fostering self-sufficiency with a key focus on health, housing, education and employment.
About the Role
Nirrumbuk is currently seeking 3 Case Support Workers to join our busy team!
As a Case Support Worker, you will walk alongside Aboriginal youth, offering guidance, encouragement, and a culturally strong connection. Your role is not just about support—it’s about growth, resilience, and creating safe spaces for young people to thrive.

- Have self-reflective capacity and the ability to address their own healing when needed.
- Are patient, non-judgemental, adaptable, and able to support youth at different levels of development.
- Value and practice respectful behaviours, honesty, responsibility, care, and safety.
- Are team players who want to shape a strong, values-based team culture.
- Possess Certificate III or higher qualification from a nationally recognized course in one of the following fields: counselling, psychology, social work, mental health, youth work, Indigenous studies or a related area or;
- Minimum of two years’ experience working in a similar field.
- Knowledge of computer systems required to record data including data bases, excel spreadsheet and word documents.
- Must have driver’s license (or in process of obtaining).
- Be able to obtain police clearance and working with children.

Salary for this position will be paid at $65,000 - $70,000 (depending on qualifications, skills and experience) plus superannuation and access to salary packaging.
