An opportunity exists for a fulltime Storeperson at our branch located in Port Melbourne. This role requires work Sunday to Thursday, 4:00pm to 12:00am. Training will be provided.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Operations Manager the successful applicant will be required to pick and assemble goods, load trucks efficiently, manage the inventory processes involved in the receipt and put away of stock, maintaining bin locations, and general tidiness of the facility. This is a physical position with some heavy lifting and requires flexibility to work various shifts in Dry, Chiller and Freezer environments.

Duties:

• Pick and assemble goods accurately
• Load trucks
• Adhere to time management and product integrity
• Perform work in the freezer storage area at minus 25 degrees temperature

Skills and Experience:

• A current forklift licence (advantageous)
• Be physically fit
• Good written and verbal communications skills
• Previous warehouse experience desirable but not essential
