• Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery
• Must have worked in à la carte restaurants.
• Fine Dining and Banquet experience.
• Must have experience in banqueting and high-volume events.
• Ability to work various shifts subject to roster requirements 7 days -Breakfast, Dinner and Events
• Immediate start for the successful applicants
• Ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Positive attitude and team player
• Provide support to the kitchen and other chefs.
• Ensure consistent great food production.
• Excellent time management
• Ability to work as a part of a team with excellent communication skills.
• Correct workplace health and safety procedures

The Role will involve:

• Preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with food safety and service standards
• Ensure the kitchen is kept to a high standard by providing a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation and delivery of meals.
• Responsible for checking purchase orders and deliveries.
• Responsible for stock control and rotation
• Promote a safe, secure environment for staff and patrons.
• Supervision of kitchen operations.
