Commodore Cabinets is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team in our Wangara, WA 6065 workshop. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for crafting high-quality custom cabinets to the specific requirements of our clients in our spacious new factory.

What you'll be doing

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to understand design specifications
• Selecting appropriate materials and cutting, shaping, and assembling cabinet components
• Ensuring the final products meet quality standards and project requirements
• Collaborating with the design team to provide input on feasibility and manufacturability
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• From time to time, assisting with the installation of completed cabinets and deliveries at customer sites

What we're looking for

• Experience as a Cabinet Maker, ideally 3+ years
• Strong working knowledge of cabinet making techniques, tools, and machinery
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Experience, motivation and reliability is essential and a positive ‘can-do’ attitude highly regarded
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• Carpentry and woodworking certification or formal training preferred
• Hold a current manual Australian drivers license to allow you to drive our vehicles
• Your own tools
• Australian residency
