About the role

Parsons Engineering Pty Ltd, a leading engineering firm in Lidcombe NSW, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for programming and operating complex CNC machines to manufacture high-precision components for our diverse range of engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

• Program and operate CNC machines to produce components
• Setup and change over machines between jobs
• Optimize programs to improve efficiency and quality
• Ensure all work complies with relevant safety standards and quality procedures

What we're looking for

• Experience as a CNC Programmer
• Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (Okuma and Fanuc)
• Solidcam experience ideal but not required
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

About You:

• Experienced trade qualified machinist
• Superior trade skills in CNC machining are a necessity
• Knowledge of Heidenhain, Fanuc, Okuma controls would be an advantage
• Ability to program your own jobs – online or offline
• Ability to be versatile and operate different machines if required
