Stapleton Martin Lawyers is a dynamic and growing Property and Commercial Law practice with a thriving conveyancing practice. Due to continued growth and increasing demand, we’re expanding our team and looking for a passionate Conveyancing assistant or paralegal to join our supportive team.

The Opportunity:

This role is 100% remote and ideal for someone looking for flexible hours – whether due to parenting or family responsibilities, studying law or conveyancing, or seeking a second job to supplement their current work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage residential conveyancing files from start to finish
• Assist with contract reviews and conduct title searches, due diligence checks, and other property searches
• Prepare sale contracts, leases, and other property-related documents
• Liaise with other party solicitors/conveyancers, real estate agents, mortgage brokers, financial institutions, and other professionals
• Assist with settlement processes, including working with PEXA and Revenue NSW Duties Online
• Maintain accurate records and client files and provide administrative support

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in NSW conveyancing transactions
• Experience using PEXA, EDR, Microsoft, and AI tools is highly desirable
• Not essential but experience in Leasing, Interstate Conveyancing Transactions, Business sales and purchases, Wills, Probate and Estate Planning, and Legal Research will be looked at favourably
• Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
• Committed to delivering outstanding client service
• A positive, proactive team attitude
