The opportunity

Mowbray Physiotherapy Services' is seeking a talented and dedicated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in Launceston, Tasmania. As a key member of our healthcare practice, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional physiotherapy services to our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments to diagnose and develop personalised treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal conditions
• Implement evidence-based physiotherapy interventions, including manual therapy, exercise rehabilitation, and education, to facilitate patient recovery and improve overall function
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, such as General practitioners and Specialist, to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to patient care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, and contribute to the continuous improvement of clinical practices and protocols
• Actively participate in professional development activities to stay abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the field of musculoskeletal physiotherapy

What we're looking for

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy, with a focus on musculoskeletal rehabilitation
• Demonstrated experience in the assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including sports injuries, joint and spinal disorders, and chronic pain management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care
• Strong manual therapy, dry needling and hands on skills.
• Experience in Private practice.
• Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Physiotherapist
