About the role

Join our vibrant team at Your Smile Dental in Darwin, NT as a full-time or part-time Oral Health Therapist. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dental hygiene and preventative oral health services to our diverse patient base. Your passion for oral healthcare and commitment to patient-centric care will be invaluable in this position.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive dental hygiene services including scaling, polishing, and other prophylactic treatments
• Conducting oral health assessments and developing individualised treatment plans
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventative care
• Assisting dentists with various clinical procedures as needed
• Providing treatment within your scope of practice
• Orthodontic assessments and treatment under the guidance of the principal dentist
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records
• Collaborating with the dental team to ensure exceptional patient experiences

What we're looking for

• AHPRA Registered Oral Health Therapist
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients of all ages
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based dental hygiene practices
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficiency in using dental software and technology
