Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Utilities Assistant/Pool Cleaner to join our Utilities Department on a casual basis. This role involves the maintenance and operation of various resort utilities and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pool Maintenance: Operation and upkeep of resort pools, including monitoring chemical levels, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Waste Water Treatment Plant: Assist in the maintenance of the Waste Water Treatment Plant, including dosage checking and sample collection.
• Sewage Treatment Plant: Assist with the general operation of the plant and perform maintenance tasks as directed.
• Stock Management: Assist to maintain inventory and supplies related to the utilities department.
• Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as directed by Resort Management.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Essential: Previous experience in pool maintenance, chemicals and cleaning
• Desirable: skills and experience in water treatment, waste water treatment highly required
• Attributes: Energetic, enthusiastic, well-presented, with a “can-do” attitude and a keen eye for detail.
• Work Rights: Applicants must have full work rights in Australia.
