The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Senior Financial Accountant position is focused on a reconciliations project with an initial 3-4 month contract, expected to be ongoing. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Leading balance sheet and general ledger reconciliations for the project
• Ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial reporting using SAP
• Supporting month-end close processes and resolving discrepancies
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline reconciliation processes
• Assisting with ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in financial accounting and reconciliations, with experience in a similar project-based role. You will also possess the following:

• CA/CPA qualification (completed or nearing completion)
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in financial accounting, ideally with project reconciliation exposure
• Hands-on experience with SAP is essential
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• First or second move from Big 4/mid-tier firm or experience in a large corporate environment highly regarded
