About the role

Allstar Infrastructure is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vac Truck Operator and HR Licence holder to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a leading construction company. As a Vac Truck Operator, you will play a crucial part in supporting our infrastructure projects, utilising your expertise to ensure efficient and safe operations.

What you'll be doing

• Operate and maintain vac trucks to support a variety of construction and infrastructure projects
• Perform routine checks and maintenance on vac truck equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Collaborate with project teams to determine the best approach for utilising vac truck services
• Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced team members
• Maintain detailed records of all vac truck operations and activities

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Vac Truck Operator
• Valid HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence - REQUIRED
• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with the operation and maintenance of vac trucks
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Proven ability to work safely and effectively in a construction environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of safety and environmental awareness
