8848 Momo House, a renowned chain of restaurants, is currently seeking experienced chefs to join our dynamic team. We are a fast-growing franchise known for our delicious Nepalese dumplings called Momos and Oriental Fusion, inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Nepal. Our brand is synonymous with quality, consistency, and a memorable dining experience. Our restaurants offer a warm and inviting atmosphere, reflecting the hospitality and rich culture of Nepal. Position: Experienced Chef We are looking for chefs of all levels who have a passion for cooking and a flair for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes. The ideal candidate will have experience in a professional kitchen environment and a deep understanding of various cooking methods and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare our standard menu items ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and presentation
• Contribute to new menu ideas and specials
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Nepalese cuisine: The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the flavours, ingredients, and techniques that are fundamental to Nepalese cuisine. This includes familiarity with the preparation of various types of Momos and other traditional dishes.
• Skills with Experience: We value practical skills honed through experience. This includes efficient kitchen management, ability to work under pressure, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Proven experience as a chef ( minimum 3-5 years )
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills Proven experience as a chef.
• Cert IV in commercial cookery or equivalent qualification.

Remuneration: $75k to $80k subject to experience.
