Electrical Field Service Technician – Balcatta location

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Service Technician with disconnect/reconnect licence to join a strong and highly-skilled engineering team in our WA location.

Ideally, the right candidate will be open to learning new machinery technology such as plasma and plate cutting machinery, waterjet, vertical storage systems and CNC equipment.

Essential attributes of the right candidate are someone that is committed to continual learning and development, happy to travel locally and interstate, with a willingness to provide a superior client experience.

Role responsibilities

• This role is specifically for maintenance, installation and repair work of manufacturing technology.
• To service and support our clients locally and interstate as required.
• Build and maintain a positive service relationship with Headland customers, to ensure a superior client experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Skills and experience

• Restricted Electrical Licence (REL) is mandatory.
• Experience in a similar Service Technician role is ideal.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude on manufacturing machinery.
• A willingness to learn new skills by undertaking training in the machinery we sell and service.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
• The ideal candidate must have a willingness to expand their technical skills across the Headland product range.
