Trivantage Manufacturing is a National leading manufacturer of packaged electrical solutions including premium quality switchboards, kiosk substations and switchrooms, covering low to high-voltage capabilities across the infrastructure, resource, and commercial sectors.

Due to organic growth, we are looking to take on electrical fitters and Trade Assistants. These are permanent positions 38 hours per week Monday to Friday with the opportunity for overtime and immediate start.

As an Electrical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in our electrical switchboard and enclosure installations. Your responsibilities will include working on electrical equipment, manufacturing and installing copper bus bars, and ensuring the safe and precise wiring of various electrical components. You will also need to read and interpret wiring diagrams and adhere to regulations and standards.

Your work will be divided into two main categories: bus bar manufacture and installation, and wiring of equipment. In this role, you will be expected to:
• Modify switchboard enclosure gear panels, doors, segregations, and penetrations as needed.
• Safely install high-voltage and low-voltage switchgear components.
• Manufacture and install copper bus bar support systems.
• Fabricate copper bus bars in various sizes.
• Properly tighten and check copper connections to equipment.
• Install various wiring accessories and electrical components.
• Perform cable crimping, termination, and electrical wiring.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
• Utilize testing equipment and instruments to identify and repair faults in electrical installations.
• Collaborate effectively with a team of fellow fitters and adhere to company health and safety policies.

Required:
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology or equivalent
• At least 5 years experience as an electrical fitter
• Knowledge of electrical switchboards, control systems, wiring and copper bus bar work, motor control, power distribution, electrical installations, and manufacturing practices.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Drivers licence
