The Gig

As a Senior Accountant, you won’t just be crunching numbers; you’ll be a pivotal part of the finance team, ensuring accurate reporting and guiding the company’s financial decisions.

You’ll collaborate closely with the CFO, oversee key financial operations, and contribute to audits, monthly financial results, and strategic financial planning.

Your position will be integral in maintaining IFRS standards and ensuring compliance with superannuation, GST, PAYG, payroll tax, and other regulatory requirements.

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to take full accountability for the month-end process, including the preparation of the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. You’ll manage payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and ensure all BAS lodgements are handled efficiently.

Beyond that, you’ll prepare timely reports for management and assist with both annual and half-yearly audits. This is your chance to implement and maintain accounting policies, oversee compliance, and provide financial insights that drive the business forward.

All about you

You’re a qualified Accountant with a Bachelor of Business or Accounting and experience in manufacturing accounting. Experience with overseas entities is a bonus, and if you’re CPA/CA qualified, that’s even better!

You bring strong communication and analytical skills, and you thrive in a team setting where attention to detail is critical.
