The Role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Structures Foreman to join our growing team to deliver a high end multi residential project. This as exciting opportunity to work on an incredibly high-end project in Newstead, Brisbane.

The successful candidate will manage the onsite delivery of projects with the support of an experienced team, in which they will be responsible for overseeing primarily the quality, safety and program elements of the project in accordance with contractual obligations, legislation and Melrose policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee, manage and deliver projects onsite from beginning to end
• Effective onsite management of all site resources including subcontractors, trades, staff and equipment
• Efficient and effective project delivery by prioritizing stakeholder relationships and meeting key success criteria, including timelines, budgets, quality standards, safety protocols, and process compliance.
• Adhere to, improve upon and maintain the construction program
• Carry out safety audits, toolbox talks, quality ITPs and site coordination meetings
• Provide practical solutions to daily on site challenges and obstacles
• Lead, manage and mentor team members to achieve their full potential and ensure behaviours are aligned with the company's values
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
• Experience in high end multi-residential projects highly regarded
• Trade qualification or similar will be highly regarded
• Experience with Hammertech, Procore, & MS Project preferred but not essential
• Preferred Design & Construction contractual experience
• Stable career history within the construction industry
• Stability on your CV will be highly regarded
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner
• Well organized, strong work ethic and a high level of integrity
• Driver's License
• QBCC site supervisor license preferred but no essential
