We are seeking a motivated a talented graduate environmental engineer to join our team. In this role you will work on a variety of environmental projects contributing to the design, implementation and management of sustainable solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to develop their skills and grow their career in a supportive and innovative environment. In this role you will assess environmental impacts for engineering projects while working with other Professionals to develop solutions for long-term environmental sustainability.

Other responsibilities will include
• Assist in the implementation of environment in design criteria within infrastructure projects
• Conduct environmental assessments and data analysis to identify the potential environmental impacts of air, water, soil and noise levels of infrastructure projects
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for stakeholders
• Participate in field work including inspections
• Develop and design processes and systems to improve, prevent, control or remediate impacts.
• Oversee and coordinate environmental management plans for infrastructure projects.
• Liaises with contractors and other internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects meet environmental requirements and objectives.
• Support with the development and planning of sustainable infrastructure, and implementation of environmental rating tools.

Minimum required qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field (e.g. Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering)
• Minimum one-year full time work experience in environmental projects
• Proficiency in using environmental engineering software such as AutoCAD, GIS, MATLAB
• Familiarity with the regulations and standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to conduct environmental data analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders
• Experience with field work including sampling and site assessments strong teamwork and collaboration skills attention to detail and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
