Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician

Job Type: Casual Role - Full Time Hours. Temp to Perm opportunity.
Shift: Day Shift / Afternoon Shift
Hourly Rate: Day Shift - $79.49/hr, Afternoon Shift - $91.41/hr

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) Technician for our Client located near Perth Airport. This role is critical for ensuring electrical safety across the site and meeting both regulatory and internal obligations. You will work closely with the engineering and maintenance teams to install, commission, and improve plant upgrades, while leading system improvements and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct PLC investigations and repairs.
• Interpret and work with P&IDs, panel drawings, single-line diagrams, and loop sheets.
• Manage and execute allocated project tasks.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Support the CMMS system and contribute to asset management improvements.
• Provide leadership and technical expertise during breakdowns and maintenance tasks.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Electrical Trade Certificate.
• WA A Grade Electrical Licence.
• Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting.
• Expertise in interpreting technical drawings (P&IDs, panel, and loop sheets).
• Ability to manage and execute electrical projects effectively.
• Commitment to maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Additional Requirements:

• Willing to apply for a Police Clearance
• Medical check as per role requirements.

Shifts & Salary:

• Day Shift: $79.49 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: $91.41 per hour
