Due to business growth and an exciting pipeline of upcoming projects, our client requires a Mid-Senior Interior Designer with 6-12 years' experience to join their team. We are seeking an interior designer who has a keen eye for FF&E selection and materiality, with proven experience working across all project phases from schematic design through to defects. The successful candidate will play a key role in conceptual design development, client engagement and bringing design visions to life from concept to handover. About the role:

• Permanent full-time in the office
• Sydney based
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency required
• A minimum of 6 years experience working locally for an Interior design or Architectural practice
• Salary expectations $90k - 110k + Superannuation (pending experience)
• Revit is essential for this role
• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe packages and MS packages required

In the role as a Mid-Senior Interior Designer, your key tasks will be as followed:

• Contribute to the conceptualisation and development of interior design schemes on a range of typologies
• Translate design concepts into detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integrity and project cohesion
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design reviews to gather feedback and ensure alignment with project objectives
• Produce accurate and comprehensive documentation, including plans, elevations, schedules, and material specifications
• Oversee the implementation of design solutions during the construction phase, addressing any design-related issues that may arise
• Maintain awareness of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform design decisions and enhance project outcomes

In the role as a Mid-Senior Interior Designer we are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• 6-12 years' experience working in an Australian Interior Design or Architectural practice
• Strong portfolio in design and demonstrating experience in commercial, hospitality and/or retail projects
• Excellent skills in Revit (essential), AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe packages
• Proven ability to develop creative conceptual designs
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Capability to work across all phases of interior design projects
