About the role

Tefcon is seeking a highly experienced Concrete Supervisor to join our thriving construction company in Tamworth, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of concrete operations on our construction sites, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency are maintained.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate the work of concrete crews, including scheduling, task delegation and performance management
• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
• Monitor and maintain quality control throughout the concrete pouring and finishing process
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to plan and execute concrete-related activities
• Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site in a timely and effective manner
• Train and develop the skills of the concrete crew members
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to concrete operations

What we're looking for

• Extensive experience (5+ years) as a Concrete Supervisor or similar role in the construction industry
• Thorough understanding of concrete mixing, pouring and finishing techniques
• Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and safety standards
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team of concrete workers
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction management or civil engineering
