About the role

This is a contract role for a talented CAD, Interior Architect/Designer to join the team at Hughes Bruce Aust Pty Ltd in Helensvale, QLD. As a key member of the design team, you will bring your expertise in computer-aided design, interior architecture and spatial planning to deliver outstanding results for our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Utilise CAD software to produce detailed design drawings and floor plans for residential and commercial interior projects
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualise and visualise innovative interior design solutions
• Prepare detailed specifications, schedules and documentation to support the implementation of design concepts
• Liaise with clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards within the business

What we're looking for

• Tertiary qualification in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field
• Demonstrated proficiency in CAD software such as Archicad, BIM360
• Strong conceptual and spatial design skills with a keen eye for detail
• Experience in the full design lifecycle, from concept development to construction documentation
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Passion for creating innovative and functional interior design solutions
