Role Description

The Digital Solutions Team are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join their in-house Salesforce Delivery team.

The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Salesforce solutions that meet their business needs

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance their Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud solution.
• Design and development of new Salesforce functions within their existing solutions
• Enhance and evolve their Salesforce solution(s) using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components and other Salesforce technologies.
• Customise and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements including workflows, process builder, validation rules, and custom objects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Code reviews to ensure code quality and adhere to best practices.
• Integration of Salesforce with third party systems using APIs and web services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Salesforce configuration and customisation.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (Deploying code using Azure DevOps) from requirements gathering to deployment and support.

Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in Salesforce design, development and implementation with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, configuration and customisation.
• Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II).
• Thorough knowledge and experience in the Salesforce platform, particularly in Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
• Proven experience of Apex, Triggers, Classes and Lightning Web Components, API Web Services and Salesforce declarative programming techniques.
• Experience with Salesforce integration using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware (Mulesoft) and ETL tools
• Relevant MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Developer or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect) are also highly advantageous (not essential)
• DevOps experience including the use of Azure DevOps, Jira and Confluence
• Experience in the S-Docs AppExchange App
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
