We are currently seeking a Legal Secretary to join our boutique firm on a permanent full-time basis (Monday to Friday – 8.30am to 5pm).

The Role

• Reception duties and client communications – telephone messages, screening client calls and assisting with requests
• Preparing and editing correspondence and other legal documents
• Extensive diary management - booking client conferences/prison visits/telephone and video-links
• Legal Aid applications and claims
• File management - opening files and general filing
• Other office duties
  

Your Skills

• Experience with Leap Legal Software and Legal Aid Qld is desirable
• Excellent communication skills with a mature outlook
• The ability to professionally communicate with people from all walks of life
• Highly organised with a proactive approach – willing to take ownership over role
• An advanced working knowledge of Word and Excel is essential
• Friendly and helpful attitude
