Due to continual company growth and increasing project workload, GCMarine is currently seeking a self-motivated Aluminium Boiler Maker / Fabricator to join the fabulous team!

Focusing on the manufacture and installation of both residential and commercial berthing applications, we complete jetty, pontoon and boardwalk projects all over Australia. That's why we are looking for a self-motivated, experienced and passionate person to assist with our expanding company.

About the role…

Working in our Arundel based facility, you will have the opportunity to work autonomously and as a part of a team. You will have full use of our state-of-the-art equipment in order to weld and fabricate our custom-built marine products. Our factory staff work on a 4-day, 38-hour week Monday to Thursday, with the opportunity for overtime on Fridays subject to operational requirements. This means most weeks you have a 3-day long weekend!

To be successful in this role you will need…

• Safety conscious
• Experience in aluminium welding
• Trade qualification - is preferred but not essential
• Ability to read drawings / plans
• Good problem-solving skills
• Understanding of relevant codes of practice and industry standards
• High attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Good communication skills
• Work effectively in a team
