The role

The ideal addition to our team is a Truck Driver who is keen to come to work and has a can-do attitude. A willingness to take the initiative and look after our Trucks and equipment. We are looking for staff that have a great attitude and work ethic with a desire to be part of a close team with the motivation and ability to assist others.

Previous experience as a Truck and Dog / Semi Driver is required.

A Truck driver will be required but not limited to

-Daily prestart on Truck, reporting any issues as they arise so they can be addressed right away (Grease truck, Check Fluids, Check tires, etc)

-Communicate with operators, other staff members and clients on site in regards to tipping and loading on various jobs

-Drive a Rigid, Truck n Dog, Semi Tipper and Semi Float

-Ability to load machines onto float and chain them down accordingly

-Upload and record relevant information and documentation like weigh-bridge receipts and hours performed on certain job

-Ability to work independently and complete tasks required in a timely manner

-Must be able to time manage and structure a schedule based on workload and required tasks

-Be willing to complete groundwork when required

Current tickets and licences e.g.

Additional training for the required certificates, tickets and licences related to the role will be provided.

Agreement depending on experience classification level.

Must have:

-Driver’s licence - HC Unrestricted

-OHS General Induction Card (White Card)

-ACT Approved Asbestos Awareness Certificate.

-Silica Awareness Certificate

-Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship

Full Time role with regular paid overtime.
