The Organisation: Our client is a sector-leading, innovative not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing practical support to disadvantaged members of our community. They operate with a strong commercial focus, ensuring their vital services reach those who need them most.
The Role: Reporting to the CFO, the Financial Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with financial governance requirements, and managing finance functions.
Key responsibilities:
- Overseeing the day-to-day finance operations.
- Managing high-volume financial transactions whilst maintaining compliance.
- Managing the AR, AP, Fleet, and Payroll functions.
- Providing leadership and support to four direct reports.
- Managing complex financial investment analysis and risk management.
- Interpreting evolving financial regulations, taxation obligations, and investment requirements including funding.
- Integrating sound financial governance and management across business operations.
- Process improvement.
The Person:
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification or equivalent.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in corporate financial management.
- Experience in financial modelling, scenario planning, risk-adjusted investments, budget forecasting, variance analysis, and financial sustainability planning.
- Sound knowledge of regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and statutory obligations.
- Strong Leadership skills.
