Our dentists provide a high standard of general dental care but also perform complex and cosmetic procedures such as dental implants, aesthetic treatments like porcelain veneers and smile makeovers as well as orthodontic treatments like Invisalign.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing routine oral hygiene cleaning at an exceptionally high standard
• Assisting in the management of periodontal disease through oral hygiene treatment
• Educating patients about oral healthcare and providing personalised home care plans
• Recording accurate and detailed patient records
• Elevating the patient experience when they receive restorative treatment from our dentists
• Maintaining a high standard of infection control

Technical Skills required:

• General dental hygiene/OHT hygiene duties such as scale and cleans and prophylaxis
• Diagnostic procedures such as dental and periodontal examinations
• Advanced periodontal debridement including deep debridement and curettage
• Use of digital scanners, OPG/CBCT, digital photography for record taking
• Supporting our dentists in pre and post procedure care including local anaesthesia
• Paediatric dentistry including preventive and restorative procedures
• Educating patients in oral hygiene and providing instructions on oral care
• Experience with Invisalign preferable
• Experience with minor restorative procedures preferable (for OHTs)

About You:

To be successful in this role, you should display:

• Empathy and a willingness to genuinely listen to and care for the patient
• An eagerness to learn and undertake training and education
• Outstanding practical skills as a hygienist, including meticulous attention to detail
• 2 + years prior clinical experience
• Qualification in Dental Hygiene or Oral Health Therapy

For this position we require a candidate with permanent working rights in Australia.
