About the role

As the Financial Controller at Technical & Management Services, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations. This full-time position is based in Milton, Qld and offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing

• Working directly with the head of Technical & Management Services, the administrative arm of the diverse holdings of the Beasley Group of businesses
• Overseeing all aspects of the company's financial management, including forecasting, reporting, AR/AP and payroll
• Balance sheet, cash flow and debt management
• Compliance reporting, including IAS and BAS lodgements
• Liaising with external tax advisors, financiers and business associates
• Collaborating with other group businesses to support our corporate group's overall business objectives
• Continual assessment to improve operational efficiencies and accuracy

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role
• Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights
• Proficiency in Xero financial software and tools
• A team-oriented personality who can collaborate well with our small team across Australia
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with all stakeholders both internal and external
