About the role

Once in a lifetime opportunity to Join Meat Flour Wine as our first Restaurant Manager in Braeside. This full-time role is crucial in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our popular and bustling family run restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient team management. As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our business and maximising profitability whilst managing a large team of hospitality professionals.

As we are opening two other venues in the next twelve months, we are seeking a dedicated, driven individual to help us run our venue efficiently always focusing on building customer loyalty and retention, ensuring Meat Flour Wine is always top of mind for their next dinning outing.

1. Braeside Meat Flour Wine Restaurant Manager (Opening June)
2. Berwick Meat Flour Wine Restaurant Manager (Opening September)

What you'll be doing

• Provide strong leadership, direction and organisation to a team of 30-40, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and budget tracking
• Deliver family like customer service, resolving any issues and ensuring a consistently excellent dining experience
• Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to drive efficiency and compliance
• Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure menu offerings and presentation meet the highest standards
• Representing our restaurant at industry events and liaise with suppliers and partners

What we're looking for

• Passionate, driven, professional and enthusiastic attitude
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar restaurant management role
• Proven track record of effectively leading and motivating a team to achieve business objectives
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and drive profitability
• Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with customers and various stakeholders
• Passion for the hospitality industry and a keen eye for detail and presentation
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
