About the Role

As Nursery Team Leader, you will head up a team of Educators, working collaboratively to support the learning and development of the children entrusted to your care. You will benefit from a small, age-appropriate environment where the RIE approach is embedded into daily practice.

• Ready to implement contemporary, evidence-informed pedagogy
• Open to our innovative and unique way of programming and practice
• Interest in and/or passion for and drive to embed and model the RIE approach into everyday practice
• Enthusiastic, dedicated and reliable professional who is relentless in the pursuit of excellence for children and willing to grow with our service
• Motivation to build and maintain positive relationships and meaningful connections with colleagues, families, children, and the wider community.

Essential Criteria:

• Valid NSW Working With Children Check
• Understanding of contemporary child safe practices
• Strong proven Team/Room Leader/Lead Educator experience in an Early Childhood setting, ideally with a similar age group
• ACECQA approved Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care as a minimum, or can be working towards, depending on course progress
• Current relevant First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates as well as Child Protection training (or willing to refresh/obtain as required).
