About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be someone who takes pride in their work, follows instructions precisely and upholds a strong work ethic. Safe work ethic, attention to detail and efficiency are key attributes we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Work: Engage in repetitive production tasks on a weekly basis, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Precision Welding: Use jigs to accurately position parts for welding, ensuring finished products meet our strict accuracy standards within 0.5mm tolerance.
• Workplace Organisation: Maintain a clean and organised work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Procedure Adherence: Follow established job procedures and listen carefully to instructions from supervisors and experienced colleagues.

Skills and Experience

• Welding & Grinding: Proficiency in welding and grinding is essential. Skills will be tested prior to employment.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to produce Welded assemblies to a high-quality finish with precision and accuracy.
• Positive Attitude & Teamwork: Demonstrates respect, good listening skills and a safety-conscious mindset.
• Punctuality: Must be reliable and on time, with a willingness to work overtime when required.
• Efficiency : Ability to think through a job and plan the most effective way to complete it in a timely manner, while still achieving a quality finish.
• Technical Proficiency: Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Forklift Operation: Forklift ticket and experience are required.
• Machinery Experience: Must have experience operating the following:

1. MIG Welder
2. Overhead Crane
3. 5-inch Grinder

• License & Medical: Must have a current driver's license and be willing to undergo a Pre-Employment Medical.
• Position Experience: Must have 3 years plus experience in a similar role.

Additional Information

• Probation Period: This position includes a 6-month probationary period.
• Personal Equipment: You will need to provide your own basic hand tools as per the tooling list.
