We are seeking a Senior Technical Specialist - MS Power Platform Developer to support a key Queensland Government agency in delivering digital transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for the design, development, and deployment of Power Platform solutions to improve data-driven decision-making.

This is a contingent labour hire opportunity, offering an initial contract term with potential extensions based on project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Solution Development: Design, develop, and customise Microsoft Power Platform solutions to meet business needs.
✔️ Data Integration: Connect Power Apps with Dataverse, OneLake, APIs, and custom connectors.
✔️ Power BI & Analytics: Embed real-time analytics into Power Apps for enhanced decision-making.
✔️ Technical Collaboration: Work with business analysts, data engineers, and IT teams to maintain efficient data models and workflows.
✔️ Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions align with government security policies and data governance standards.
✔️ Testing & Troubleshooting: Conduct unit and integration testing, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions.
✔️ Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to streamline workflows and optimise solution performance.

Skills & Experience Required:

🔹 Proven Power Platform Expertise - Strong background in developing and deploying Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.
🔹 Agile & DevOps Experience - Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
🔹 Government Project Experience (Preferred) - Familiarity with Queensland Government ICT policies, frameworks, and security requirements.
🔹 Technical Documentation & Reporting - Ability to produce clear and concise documentation for stakeholders.
🔹 Problem-Solving & Adaptability - Experience working in fast-paced, evolving project environments.
🔹 Stakeholder Engagement - Ability to liaise with business and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery.

Contract Details:

📌 Duration: 12 Months
📌 Rate: 100 Per hour + Super (based on experience)
📌 Location: Queensland Government agency (Hybrid work options may be available)
