About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Kids Martial Arts Instructor to join our dynamic team at the Australian Martial Arts Academy in Marrickville, NSW. This is a casual position that will involve teaching high-energy and engaging martial arts classes to children of ages 3 and up and all skill levels.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering fun, safe and educational martial arts classes for children
• Developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that build students' physical, mental and emotional skills
• Providing positive encouragement and feedback to help students progress in their martial arts journey
• Ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all students
• Maintaining accurate student records and progress tracking
• Assisting with the general operations of the martial arts academy as required

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a group fitness or martial arts instructor, preferably working with children
• Ability to teach ages 3 and up!
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and their families
• Strong teaching and coaching abilities, with a passion for helping children develop both physically and mentally
• First aid qualifications and a valid Working with Children Check
• Enthusiasm, patience and a genuine desire to inspire the next generation of martial artists
