- Base Salary $140,913 + 17% superannuation
About the opportunity
The Engagement Manager will develop, deliver, and manage a comprehensive engagement program that supports the strategic objectives of the Faculty of Medicine and Health (FMH) across the greater health precincts. This role leads and manages the Internal Communication and Engagement team, which delivers internal communications, events and information management services for the Faculty of Medicine and Health
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- manage internal communications and engagement activities in a complex organisation and structure
- support senior leadership roles with communications strategies, crisis management and other planned and reactive internal communications support
- provides effective management of information management platforms to facilitate a sophisticated approach to information sharing across the faculty, including change and adoption programs
- develop, implement and measure initiatives that engage key audiences using innovative methods and actively increase the level of engagement with faculty objectives
- provide leadership and expert guidance to the Internal Communications and Engagement team throughout the design and development of engagement and communications plans
- provide effective management and coordination of staff and resources
About you
proven experience managing internal communications in a complex organisation and developing and evolving audience-driven communications strategies
- superior written communication skills
- experience designing and delivering events programs
- demonstrated experience working with diverse stakeholder groups and an understanding of the intersection between faculties and Local Health Districts (LHDs)
- demonstrated experience delivering large scale information management programs in a complex organisation, with SharePoint management experience highly desirable
- goal oriented and self-motivated with an ability to demonstrate accountability, initiative, energy, creativity, and focus in a rapidly changing and intellectually stimulating environment
- high level of communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to build strong collaborative relationships
- extensive project management experience with the capacity to manage the competing priorities of a team, maintain attention to detail and to meet deadlines
- experience leading, motivating and mentoring a team of professionals to achieve high standards of client service delivery and teamwork

Please note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. For a fixed term position, you will be required to have full working rights for the duration of the contract
